德国摄影装置艺术家

Ute  Lindner 是德国广受欢迎的摄影装置艺术家，尤以大型作品受到各大博物馆的青睐和收藏。十多年前驻京德国大使馆就辗转从藏家手中得到她的一组巨型红色毛毡系列作品，至今陈列在大使馆内。而在德国各大城市尤其柏林也经常可以在地标中心看到她的空间装置艺术。

Ute Lindner is a popular photographic installation artist in Germany. Her large works are liked and collected by a number of major museums. More than a decade ago in Beijing, the German embassy gained a series of giant red felt works of her from a collector, which is still on display in the embassy. Today in major German cities, especially Berlin, we can see her space installation art at the landmark centre.

Ute 游走于古老的氰版照相技法（Cyanotype）与当代艺术的观念揉捏、结合，承继18世纪影响德国文学艺术的浪漫主义精神，并结合当代都市的钢筋混凝土景观，形成了独具魅力的“蓝色”美学，而因为在阳光下渐渐显影的奇妙化学作用而产生的图像，本身就带有不确定性，这正诠释了变化无穷的艺术魅力，一如我们周遭的世界以及我们置身的宇宙，没有什么东西会彻底消失，也没有什么东西能永垂不朽。

在Ute Lindner的作品中，蓝是一种冥想中的情绪，是一种抽离真实、清晰、愉悦的清晰，是一个“链接点”——链接了古老传统的技艺和当代最前沿的理念和视觉样式。就像Ute作品中让人印象深刻的对于“光”的出色把握，是基于古老的氰版技法（cyanotype）的“渐渐显影”的技法；Ute又结合了当代都市的“景观”揉捏成十分迷人的美学效果。同时，她不限于材质的创作又与在地空间结合，重新打造了“场域”，从而邀请观者将自我的情绪亦沉潜到他的作品中，而“光”也是无远弗届的，不受媒材和时间的限制，某种程度上，“光”就是山峦背后的“蓝”，是永恒。

无论是摄影，还是跨媒介，Ute的创作非常自由灵活，她非常善于营造情境， 这得益于这位在德国被各大博物馆青睐的艺术家的扎实功底和在各地创作的经验。她对”光“的出色把握让她即便是在平面摄影中，也能通过一场场故事述说着关于“光”的苏醒和消逝。如在她的“Belichtungszeiten”系列中，平滑如镜的质感展现了脆弱和易逝的美。这其实就有一种“双向风景”的意味——人、事、物处于镜头中，而他们似乎不与观者对话，更多的是与他们面前的“风景”或他们内心在对话。这便是说，这样的一个画面中，实则蕴含着多重空间——所以，在不同的空间作品会有不同的延展性。

Ute Lindner's believes that construction of images that create their own intermediate spaces; a place which, in its constructed, phantom-like fragility,draws its reality by permanently mirroring itself. In this group of works, Belichtungszeiten  over 25-year-oldcarmine red felt fabric were previously hung. The only measure taken by the artist was to apply the material onto canvas stretchers and to present them as autonomous pictures. In addition, the images reveal traces of time-lapse photography that preserve things that have vanished in the guise of aphantom-like residue, allowing a new autonomous image to simultaneously resurrect itself.

Ute Lindner used time-lapse photographyas an instrument for creating images that reflect on the conditions of their own production and reception. In these works, the artist coated glasses with cyanide, which at first quickly turned dark blue under ultraviolet lights, but then under went further formal and colour changes in a process that lasted overa longer stretch of time. Instead of allowing light to enter the studio, the chemical solution of iron and salt formed a light barrier leading to its own negation. Robbed of its conventional function, it was nevertheless still readable as a self-generating image of a paradoxical intermediate space.
